Profile

He received the B.E, the M.Sc., and the Ph.D. degrees from Osaka University in 2012, 2014, and 2015, respectively. He was a research fellowship for young scientists (DC1) in 4/2014 - 3/2015. He was a JST PRESTO researcher (10/2019 - 3/2022). He is a member of IEEE (+ Computer Society), ACM, DBSJ, and IPSJ.

Research Interests

Fast and practical algorithms for database, data mining, and machine learning. Particularly, we deal with BIG spatio-temporal data and high-dimensional vectors, and our focuses are:

From bigdata to small data
- Publications appear at ICDE2024, AISTATS2024, SIGIR2023, AAAI2023, and etc.
Data mining in the presence of outliers
- Publications appear at AISTATS2024, ACM TKDD, AAAI2023, The VLDB Journal, SIGMOD2021, and etc.
Application to Web/IR domains
- Publications appear at ACM TWEB, SIGIR2023, RecSys2022, RecSys2021, and etc.
